We find our Destiny by tapping into our wild nature.
Did you know the origins of Valentine’s Day align with the Celtic celebrations of Imbolc and Bridgid and in the Mediterranean tradition’s of Luprecalia. The She-Wolf Lupa, who is traced back to the feminine cultures of the Etruscans is considered the ‘Mother of Rome’. Lupa, the She-Wolf the ‘Mother of Destiny/’ This is the Mother that holds the power to support us, guide us, feed us and protect us when we are deep in her Cave and/or find us ourselves wandering the Sacred Groves of the forests so we can reclaim our relationship with our primal instincts that is vital to walking the path of human in this blessed ‘Earth Walk’.
I like to remind us that being in a human body means finding ‘Self’ the balance between the polarity of spirituality and the polarity of our instincts. Those who walked this Earth as fully realized embodied Beings had this refined ability to be 100% in union with there instincts and with the Spirit body, and stood radiating at the center, as Self.
It is our birthright to connect back to our wild instinctual nature and essential of we are truly tap into and live out our destiny.
We can support the journey of becoming the Awakened Human by learning to open to Presence that allows us the capacity to enter the darkness of Lupa’s cave to find nourishment and regeneration.
Lupa reminds us that we have to find the courage to tap into the unbridled earthly nature of our being if we wish to fulfill our destiny. When we allow the darkness of our unconscious to be exposed to the light, we are creating the fresh fertile ground for our dreams to sprout from the seed.
So often when I hold space for someone and they complain about headaches, feeling sluggish, anxious feelings, aches and pains, etc., they have many different reason as to why these things are happening. Then we drop into the space of the ‘Wisdom Body’ and allow the symptoms to speak, that level of experience that is just beneath the surface of our conscious reality. Often it takes some effort to keep the mind out of it, yet with the guidance and field of Isis and my work, it always leads to immense wisdom of what we truly want, need, or wish to express.
We tend to ignore these callings because humanity has been trained to ignore them and this is exactly where we find our true nature. The more willing we are to confront those parts inside lie inside the darkness of the cave, the more our wild nature, our hidden gifts and the effortless manifestation of our destiny arise.
We know that Lupercalia was deduced to a distortion when celebrated by the Romans; it was marked by rituals of animal sacrifice (goats and dogs) and a drunk priest whipping women with goat hides, in particular on her breasts to encourage lactation, abundance and fertility. Men also would claim a women he wished to take as his bride during this festival. This event is also discussed as one of the origins of Christian flagellation.
So no wonder we have such skewed energy around sexuality, feeling safe enough to bring forward the depths of our feminine nature and truly express our creative erotic nature.
The word ‘erotic’ is actually tied to the earth as both Mother and Father Earth posses an erotic nature. We are left with this idea that erotic means sexual desire yet to look at the origins of the word we find Eros. Eros was the God of love, passion and desire. There is nothing scandalous, unholy, dirty about this and yet unconsciously we tend to attribute it to something other than its truth.
In reality, the sensuality that most women crave is NOT something that can be satiated by the masculine. It is healing the mother wound, allowing the child within to reclaim her splendid body as it was Divinely created, heal the wounds and energetically separate from the mother who unconsciously rejected it. The cuddling and softness, intimacy between mother and daughter, the encouragement by the mother for the child to explore what feels good inside are all things that lead to a healthy relationship to sensuality.
When we are in touch with that in ourselves and can trust ourselves more we can soften and surrender into the masculine energy that is required to create the sacred marriage within and with another.
Many of us growing up in the past generations and many growing up now, do not get that and were taught that our behaviors, curiosities and desires are wrong. Our sensitive selves could feel the unconscious, dissociated and unexpressed parts of our caregivers and were left to take them on as our own.
Some of these oppressed parts have been passed down generation after generation and now that we are awakening, it is time to heal. Most of all, it is time to show our bodies that they have permission to feel good and allows us to become more embodied …in turn this creates a container to hold more Spirit.
Calling in Lupa or working with Brigid as Maiden, Lilith and Isis can help us strengthen and reclaim our wild passionate, creative nature. It is time to be an Embodied Expression of Love
